- Didn’t go for an early morning photo walk today – we had another idea to action.
- We went through our luggage to pick out everything we wouldn’t need until the end of the trip (either things we brought for the flights or things we brought but didn’t think we’d use, like a mini-tripod and a battery-powered room fan), packed them into a suitcase and stored it with a luggage storage service. It turned out to be one I’d walked straight past the previous morning while checking out the far side of Ueno park.
- Stopped for some lunch on our way out for the day; I grabbed a beef bowl, MBW tried some hamburg. Pretty great!
- Headed to Asakusabashi for some craft supply shopping, with a focus on beads.
- After another big shopping day, headed back to the hotel. I did a solo run at night out to visit some more camera stores in Nakano, and found zero Sigma 24mm – but I DID find a used GF100-200mm for an even better price than I’d seen the previous day in Shinjuku. Tucked that away for later.
- Leaving Tokyo the next day, so went back and made sure everything was packed and ready.
