• Original plan for today was to hit up Nakano during the day, Shinjuku/Golden Gai at night.
• We…. didn’t feel like doing that.
• Instead, we:
  • did some laundry,
  • hit up the local post office to get some supplies to ship a care package back home,

• went to ABC Mart to buy some Japanese-exclusive sneakers,
• tried out Komeda’s Coffee for a morning brew and some breakfast,

• swung by the Sanrio Gift gate,

• Found a katsu curry and soba set for lunch.
• We also had appointments at Elena Jade Beauty Spa in Minato. I had a pedicure to look after my sore feet, and MBW had her nails custom-designed. Really great experience, the team there were lovely, and the pedicure made such a wonderful difference after 9 days of walking.

• The downside of our spa booking – we had to work through Tokyo peak hour traffic to get home. The train platform was so crowded, we ended up taking the wrong entrance from Ikebukuro station, getting a little lost, and taking the scenic route back to the hotel.

• In a nice silver lining, we swung by a HMV store to pick up the latest Hanabie. album. I’d been listening to it for a while on streaming, but it was good to get a physical copy.
• We finished the day at the Cuomo Salvatore for some Italian-style pizza.
